Bernie Madoff Articles

CNBC keeps coming out with great specials.  Recently, they aired American Greed: Scam of the Century – Bernie Madoff and the $50 Billion Heist.  It was a great special.  If you haven’t seen it, it airs again on January 1 at 9:00 p.m., January 5 at 9:00 p.m., and January 11 at 10:00 p.m.

What I found most interesting was the flag that was displayed in Bernie Madoff’s Palm Beach residence.  The flag was hung downwards, but when you rotate it in the natural position of the flag, what you find is quite interesting.  It appears that there is a pentagram in the flag.  The “upside-down star” is a prominent symbol used in Satanism.

The question burning through everyone’s mind is why would he do this.  Did he really think he could get away with it?  Did he have a narcissistic complex?  Was it mere greed that motivated him or perhaps revenge?  There are just so many questions that people have that may never go answered.  Perhaps the most basic explanation as to why Bernie Madoff would ruin the lives of thousands of people is pure evil.

After seeing the flag in Bernie Madoff’s home, the last explanation seems the most likely.
